The next four or five videos following this one all are shot in the northeastern region of Guangdong province (China). You can see from the map that Chinese education when it comes to geography leaves something to be desired. They had completely misplaced the city of Dongguan on the map. I have seen this many times in fact and I notice that Chinese people generally exhibit a noticeable deficiency of basic geographical knowledge. However, I really like Chinese people in general; this is their education system at work, and it's obviously not their "fault". 中国梅州 蕉岭

As I mentioned a lot of times that knowing manufacturing cities will be very helpful for importers to find the right suppliers in China, or to identify whether your supplier is factory or trading company. In my previous video, I introduced the manufacturing cities in Zhejiang Province, China. And now in this video I introduce another important province-Guangdong. I also mentioned in the video before that Zhejiang and Guangdong are the two most developed provinces in China. And they almost got the most manufacturing cities. Taht's why people are buying more frequently from Zhejiang and Guangdong provinces. Guangdong Province plays a quite important role in Chinese export and has lots of main cities, such as Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Foshan, are very familiar to foreign importers. There are als...

I have travelled to small towns in the north of China, and I can tell you: the small cities of the south are simply more modern and economically developed. On just soooo many levels this is true. 中国广东的小城市，城镇，农村： 都比北方的现代得多。

Did Air Force B-52 Bombers Just Practice an Attack on China? (Video/Thumbnail Picture just For Ilustration) A pair of US B-52 Stratofortress strategic bombers reportedly flew within 250 kilometers of Guangdong’s coastline in southern China on Tuesday afternoon, according to Taiwan media and Aircraft Spots, a Twitter group that tracks aircraft movement and the deployment of the US Air Force. The two long-range bombers, bearing registration numbers 57-1454 and 60-0360 with call signs HERO01 and HERO02, were spotted above the Bashi Channel between Taiwan and the Philippines and were believed to have come from the US outpost of Guam. The bombers flew westward into the northern portion of the South China Sea and circled for about an hour above the Pratas Islands controlled by Taiwan, about ...
An animated infographic about China's migrant workers. Migration from inland villages to coastal cities has transformed China. Now that is changing, as regional cities inland become the new focus of migration patterns. Subscribe NOW to The Economist: http://econ.st/1Fsu2Vj Since 1978 China has experienced the largest internal migration in human history. Nearly 160 million people - that's almost 12% of today's population - have left rural areas to seek work in the cities. The motivation to move was obvious. In 1978 everyone was poor, and rural incomes were less than 40% of urban ones. Suddenly Communist China threw open its doors and factories appeared in coastal towns, where farmers could make more money in a month than in a year growing rice. Migrants moved from the poorest inland p...

Travel video about destination China. China’s Imperial City is located in the centre of its ancient Middle Kingdom, a gigantic and inscrutable empire beyond the Great Wall. The Imperial City is entered through the Gates of Heavenly Peace. After seven years of construction, Ming Emperor Zhu Di moved into his newly-established palace complex in which over eight thousand people lived in almost a thousand rooms. The palace served as both a residential and governmental seat to the emperors of the Ming and Qing Dynasties. A stone’s throw away from the old Summer Palace is the Garden of Harmonious Unity that was the favourite garden of the Emperor’s household who retreated to its cool lakeside shores during the humid months of summer. Top Things to do in China! I know that this is long overdue and that I haven't posted a video in a while, but seriously China!! Anyways, this list is less about the top attractions in China and more about the best ones. Moreover, it features the off the beaten path destinations in China as well. So what are the most incredible things to do in China. Here's my take: 10) Changsha and the Mao Zedong Staute (长沙和毛泽东雕像) This is crazy, in the capital of Hunan Province there's a giant statue of Mao Zedong that looks like something out of Mount Rushmore. Definitely a top thing to see in China. 9) Bifengxia Panda Base (碧峰峡大熊猫保护区) The Panda Center in Chengdu is a bit over-touristed. That's why it's a great option to head to Bifengxia on the edge of the village of Ya'an, and up to this amazing ...
